About Real Authenticator
Real Authenticator is an iOS app that lets people verify each other's identity using time-based one-time codes (TOTP) — the same cryptographic standard that powers bank two-factor authentication, applied to human-to-human trust.
Users create private "connections" with trusted contacts — family, colleagues, partners, clients — via invite links or QR codes. When you need to verify someone is who they claim to be, you ask for their code. It takes five seconds. A deepfake, an AI voice clone, or a compromised account cannot produce it.
The app was built in response to a specific, growing threat: the AI-enabled impersonation attacks that are bypassing every technical security control because they exploit human trust, not software vulnerabilities.
